Kim Henares should be reprimanded - Sen. Cayetano

Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) chief Kim Henares should be repremanded for "demonizing" boxing champ and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao, Senate Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano said.

In a statement, Cayetano said the BIR should not be "overacting" and "kulang sa pansin" in running after Pacquiao for his supposed tax deficiencies.

For me, i don't care about Manny's tax problem, But Sen. Cayetano has a point. And i didn't like what Ms. Henares did a day or two before Manny's fight reminding him to pay his taxes. It was badly timed and a disruption on Manny's preparation on reclaiming his WBO belt against Tim Bradley.

Henares should just "remind Manny privately" of his obligation to the BIR. Her action is unprofessional. She could be reprimanded. What she did is harassing Pacquiao.

If she is these enthusiastic why not do this to all corrupt businessman, politicians, sportsman, etc. shouting out to their faces to pay their taxes right.. Why only Pacquiao? is it because Pacquiao is an easy prey?

Now that the fight is over Pacquiao can now focus to resolved this tax issue and prove Henares wrong as well as those people who judged him as a tax evader.
