Garena has announced that Free Fire's Booyah Day 2024 will bring events with free rewards and FFWS-themed Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. Check out more details below.
Event Overview
Free Fire's annual Booyah Day event returns with new gameplay, a themed event and rewards, festivities, and hidden surprises for the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2024.
Booyah Day and FFWS will be integrated into Battle Royale (BR) and Clash Squad (CS) modes starting November 8, 2024. The freshly released theme song and a new set of Booyah Day and FFWS-themed rewards will bring players together during the celebrations.
Booyah Day 2024
With the theme "Booyah My Way," this year's Booyah Day encourages players to show off their talents and win in their own ways.
To earn Booyah points during the event, perform positive actions like reviving teammates and scanning actively in BR and CS modes.
CS mode players can use Booyah Points to buy special items from the new Refresh store. Meanwhile, BR mode players can utilize points to activate a special Booyah Airdrop, which can be redeemed for a weapon of one's choosing. The center of the final safe zone will be adorned with a statue of the player with the most Booyah Points, enabling team members to scan the area.
Moreover, players can interact with FFWS Booyah stages in BR mode to get extra loot. In the battle, players can unlock Skyblasters, Free Fire's first flying vehicle, by collecting Booyah Points. Additionally, once a sufficient number of Booyah Points have been accumulated by all players worldwide, Booyah Point UAVs will be unlocked, enabling players within a specific range to progressively increase their Booyah Points.
On the other hand, once players earn enough Booyah Points in CS mode, they can unlock a new Refresh store item slot with more special items. Players can randomly receive four item options that can be refreshed up to three (3) times per round. If players don't refresh, the Refresh store's featured items will carry over to future CS matches.
Collecting Booyah Points throughout the event unlocks free rewards, which include the following:
- Booyah Bling Grenade skin
- Booyah Hairstyle
- Booyah Champ Gloo Wall
Free Fire World Series Global Finals 2024 to be held in Brazil
On November 8, the FFWS Global Finals 2024 will commence, with 18 teams participating in the two-week Knockout Stage. Subsequently, the Point Rush and Grand Final will take place from November 22 to 24.
Players will have the opportunity to select and redeem a temporary team jersey and avatar of their preferred Global Finals participant from the 18 competing teams during the FFWS period as part of the in-game enthusiasm for the largest Free Fire tournament of the year. Additionally, upon the conclusion of the tournament on November 24, a special champion's avatar and jersey will be at stake.
The Knockout Stage's official trailer will be released soon, encouraging players to support their favorite teams. The official channels of Free Fire Malaysia will have livestreams of all matches in both Malay and English.
Booyah Streak Challenge
A special KOL Booyah Streak Challenge will be implemented to increase community engagement and correspond with the in-game win streak event. This challenge encourages Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to determine the number of consecutive Booyahs they can achieve, with a leaderboard monitoring their progress.
Additionally, players have the opportunity to acquire exclusive titles in BR and CS modes by participating in the Booyah Streak Challenge in-game. Free Fire will introduce a distinct opportunity for additional community engagement by directly featuring KOLs' social media channels on the in-game leaderboard for the first time.
