After Zayn Malik's departure from One Direction, everyone is asking what his next steps will be.
There have been a rumours that he will be working on a solo career after leaving One Direction.Zayn like many others before him thinks he can make it as a solo artist.Most are forgotten soon. If it is true that Zayn wants to go SOLO, Just take a look at those artists who come from groups,only very few are successful.
Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys went solo but released only one album, his album could hardly reach top ten at the Billboard Music Charts. Ricky Martin from Menudo - he was successful for a short time. Jordan Knight and Joey McIntyre of New Kids On The Block also got solo albums but they did not receive much success.
Three members of the girl group Spice Girls went solo, but was not successful. The only artists that come from groups whose solo careers are very successful are Michael Jackson of The Jackson 5 and Justin Timberlake from N'SYNC.
I think there are other names that the readers can add, but for me, these two really stands out. Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake have one thing in common. Aside from singing, they are also very good in dancing, which is a big PLUS for performers unless you can play musical instruments like Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars, Most of the solo artists are also good in dancing like Usher and Chris Brown. Zayn, if he want to go solo, he can NEVER escape from One Direction's shadow.
Well lets give Zayn Malik a chance and prove himself that I'm wrong with my opinion,
