How to Check Civil Service Exam Rating Online (CSE-PPT) 2024

You can check your Civil Service Exam Rating online via OCSERGS (Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System). Checking of individual results for the recent Civil Service Exam for the Paper-and-Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) on August 11, 2024, for the Professional and Sub-Professional levels will be released on October 27, 2024, by the Philippine Civil Service Commission. To know whether you passed or failed the exam, you can search for your name on the List of Passers (CSE-PPT August 2024), but you can't see your score or rating there.

Getting your civil service exam result is very easy and convenient. Prepare necessary information like examinee number, date of examination, type of exam, and the region number where you took the exam. These details will be needed to fill out the online form to generate your rating. But, for those who took the CSE-PPT exam from March 18, 2018, to August 11, 2024, the examinee number is no longer needed.

Here are the Steps to check your Civil Service Exam Score Results Online for CSE-PPT

UPDATE for 11 August 2024 CSE-PPT (Paper-and-Pencil Test) Passers for both Professional and Sub-Professional Level

Examinees, both passed and failed, can generate their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) by October 27, 2024. Please note that no report of rating shall be mailed to individual examinees.

To use OCSERGS, the examinee should encode/fill in the required data in the corresponding data fields accurately, following the proper format. Examinee number is no longer needed.

Step 1. Go to the Online Career Service Examination Result Generation System website: https://erpo.csc.gov.ph/ocsergs/ (Sometimes the website is slow due to the high number of visits, so just patiently wait for the page to load.)

Step 2. You will be landed on the OCSERGS Main Page. Supply the following information:
  • Last Name
    • Make sure to enter your last name correctly and avoid adding extra spaces. Correct spelling and spacing are important in this field.
  • First Name
    • Make sure to enter your first name correctly and avoid adding extra spaces. Correct spelling and spacing are important in this field.
  • Ext. Name (if any)
    • Enter your extension name in the designated field. If you do not have an extension name, leave the field blank. Note that all fields are information-sensitive.
  • Middle Initial
    • Enter your middle initial/s only. Do not indicate your middle name or put a period (.) after your middle initial/s.
  • Date of Birth
    • Format MM/DD/YYYY. This field needs the numbers for 'month' and 'date' to have two digits. If the number has only one digit, you must add a zero (0) before it. It's important to follow this exact format, as any incorrect format will not be accepted.
  • Date of Examination
    • Select your date of examination from the dropdown menu.
  • Type of Examination
    • Select the specific type of examination you have taken from the dropdown menu.
  • CSC Office
    • Click the dropdown menu and select the appropriate Regional Office that has jurisdiction over the testing center where you took the examination.
  • Check Box
    • Check the box to confirm that you accept the CSC Privacy Policy.
  • Submit
    • Make sure to review everything carefully before you click the 'Submit' button. And be ready for what you might see.

Please make sure that you've entered the correct details to avoid redoing the steps.

Take note that the passing rate is at 80%. Congratulations if you pass the Civil Service Exam – Paper and Pencil Test. But don't lose hope if you fail; there's always a next time, as CSC announced that THERE SHALL be no limit to the number of times one can take the Career Service Examination (CSE), both for Professional and Sub-Professional levels, albeit, with specific requirements: 18 years old and above and have not taken the same level of examination within three months before the date of examination.

After the verification of your rating, you can now claim your Certificate of Eligibility.
