Marvel Games and NetEase Games unveiled the launch trailer and official soundtrack for Marvel Rivals, a highly anticipated superhero team-based PVP shooter launching on December 6, 2024, with 33 heroes, all unlocked and free to play.
The game will be available on three platforms: Windows PC, PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X/S. Players will be able to pre-load Marvel Rivals on Steam beginning December 4 at 0:00 UTC.
In Marvel Rivals, players assemble an all-star squad of Super Heroes and Super Villains who engage in battle with distinctive powers across a dynamic array of destructible maps from the Marvel Multiverse.

Chrissy's career seamlessly integrates the realms of music and gaming, as she is renowned for her iconic gaming OSTs "Legends Never Die" and "Phoenix" and her role as the formidable frontwoman of the band Against The Current.
Limited vinyl is now available for pre-order on Mutant, and the official video game soundtrack for Marvel Rivals, Galactic Tunes, will be available on streaming platforms on December 6, 2024.
New Map and Heroes
In addition to the launch trailer, the development team revealed a new map for Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface. Its background story goes like this. The Panther God Bast is shadowed by the awakening Knull. The Guardians of the Galaxy are sent to Klyntar by Shuri to solve this threat. The Guardians meet Venom after the Milano crashes on Klyntar. The Knull Essence, derived from a controlled symbiote, is volatile and could destroy the planet's symbiotes. Therefore, the two sides disagree on how to combat Knull: Venom. Venom prefers to wait until they can safely harness Knull's power. However, Shuri's Guardians want to instantly negate Knull's influence over the gods, particularly Bast. They split after reaching a stalemate.

This week, five new heroes will be revealed. Each day preceding the launch, a new hero will be completely announced. Squirrel Girl, Black Widow, Iron Fist, Cloak & Dagger, and Wolverine comprise the heroes to be unveiled.
On December 4, at 7 PM PST, the Marvel Rivals and Marvel Games team will be hosting a special community AMA (ask me anything) for fans on the official Discord. Fans will have the opportunity to inquire, interact with the team, and obtain the latest information.
