Sharkmob has announced that it will hold a playtest for its tactical extraction shooter game, Exoborne, on the PC platform (via Steam) from February 12 to 17, 2025.
According to the developer, this playtest will be available worldwide, including the Philippines, and will give players "an exclusive chance" to explore Colton County, a place devastated by nature, for fierce PvPvE combat.

In Exoborne, players become Reborn, special survivors who use powerful Exo-Rigs. They can customize their Rigs and choose their loadouts to match their playstyle. Players take on high risks for bigger rewards, fighting against other players, factions, and the harsh forces of nature.
In the trailer, Tar, the enigmatic leader of the Reborn, calls on players to join the fight against Rebirth and protect humanity's future.

The playtest is scheduled to start on February 12, 2025 – at 5 AM PST / 1 PM GMT / 2 PM CET / 9 PM Philippine Time. It will end on February 17, 2025 – at 5 AM PST / 1 PM GMT / 2 PM CET / 9 PM Philippine Time.

Exoborne's World and Exo-Rigs
Exoborne takes players into a harsh world ruined by the power of nature. The few survivors are called the Reborn. These are former followers of Project Rebirth who now fight for truth and justice. Players as Reborn battle for scarce resources in a place of extreme weather, enemy factions, and hidden dangers. The quest for survival pushes everyone against one other, thus they can trust no one because other players will try to outmaneuver them.
Meanwhile, the Reborn can use powerful Exo-Rigs, which are formidable survival and combat tools. Players can customize their Exo-Rigs to fit their goals and missions. They can adapt to survive deadly storms and use the forces of nature in battles.
Exoborne's high-stakes extraction gameplay and dynamic player-versus-player-versus-environment elements require players to strategize, thrive, and adapt in a tough world.
