First-person tactical shooter Garena Delta Force has launched its new season, "Starfall." The update includes the 3v3v3 multiplayer mode Hot Zone, two new Warfare maps, Operations map expansions, a new Operator, and new weapons and gadgets. As the Spring Festival draws near, players can complete daily missions and challenges, collect festive rewards, including the AS Val - Snake's Fortune weapon skin, and rejoice with their teams. New Mini-Mode: Hot Zone
In Hot Zone mode, players fight in 3v3v3 teams. Matches are quick, lasting about 2 minutes each round, with a total of up to 7 rounds per match.
Players try to capture and upload the MandelCell. They win by eliminating all their opponents or finishing the upload. This game mode features combat-focused gameplay, minimizing looting and providing quicker, more action-packed matches. Players can earn points from matches to unlock equipment presets, which adds an element of strategy. Players can enjoy Hot Zone on weekends.
Two New Warfare Maps: Trainwreck and Knife Edge
Trainwreck takes place in a remote mining area, where a railway and a crashed train are central to fierce battles. This balanced terrain encourages teamwork and various tactics with infantry and vehicular warfare.
Meanwhile, Knife Edge is set on a large dam and emphasizes close-quarters combat. Its straight form and close spacing between structures make it perfect for players who enjoy quick infantry skirmishes.
New Operator: Sineva
Operator Sineva, an Engineer-class specialist and offense-defense expert, was added to the Delta Force roster. After a personal tragedy, he joined the Alpha Squad and then the G.T.I., where he currently performs crucial missions.
Sineva's abilities include Rear Guard, which protects his rear when his shield is on his back, and Total Armor, which combines heavy-duty armor and extendable shields. His Razor Wire incapacitates enemies.
Arsenal Expansion: Three new weapons, four types of ammunition, and many more
New weapons, attachments, and ammunition types were added in the Garena Delta Force Season "Starfall" update to diversify battle.
- QCQ171 SMG: A compact, high-mobility weapon perfect for close-quarters combat.
- SR-9 Marksman Rifle: Provides a versatile mix of precision and firepower for mid- to long-range clashes.
- QJB201 LMG: Offers sustained suppressive fire.
Moreover, two new gadgets were added to the Warfare mode: a Smoke Grenade Launcher for the Support Class and a High-Explosive Grenade for the Assault Class.
Spring Festival: Events and Rewards
From now till January 31, 2025, Garena Delta Force players can enjoy many activities and free rewards in preparation for the Spring Festival. A 7-day login event offers exclusive items, such as the first free TurBrick and customization rewards.
Further, the festive in-game New Year Card Exchange event from January 24 to February 11 will encourage players to collect and trade New Year Cards via gameplay and social interactions to earn themed rewards like the AS Val - Snake's Fortune weapon skin.
