Season 7 of Honor of Kings (HOK) is now live, bringing a new hero, Dyadia, a new game mode, events with rewards, and more updates. Besides these loads of fresh content, developer TiMi Studio Group and publisher Level Infinite shared additional details about the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship.

Here are the highlights of the MOBA game's latest patch update:
- New Hero Dyadia offers a unique approach to the Support role.

New Hero: Dyadia
Attention, opposing marksmen! It is advised that you refrain from approaching this all-new Support hero, as she will use her "Bitter Farewell" skill, which will result in a bitter bond that deals magic damage and lets her loot two gold per second for five seconds. When the effect concludes, it deals additional magical damage. Dyadia becomes stronger with each gold she gains, speeding up her Ultra status. Moreover, Dyadia can provide assistance with her "Heartlink" ability, which blesses her teammates, restores health (HP), and increases movement speed, plus offers additional buffs.
Dyadia Skills
- Passive – Melodic Swing
- At intervals, she gains an enhanced basic attack, which dashes her in front of the enemy, knocks them back, and then makes her jump backward. She can earn extra gold and reduce the cooldown for her enhanced basic attack by matching any Heroes to trigger Blessing of Fortune or Bitter Reconciliation.
- Skill 1 – Heartlink
- Her Skill 1 is a buff that restores some health to allied heroes. When cast on two allied heroes, they gain a movement speed boost when they get close to each other, and upon meeting, they gain a large health restoration and movement speed boost. If cast again on the same target, she will dash to their location, continuously restore their health, provide a movement speed boost, and recover her health while following them.
- Skill 2 – Bitter Farewell
- Her Skill 2 is a crowd control (CC) skill. It exposes an enemy and reduces their gold while dealing continuous magical damage. When cast on two enemies, if they get close, they experience a slow effect, and upon meeting, the damage is canceled, and the reduced gold is returned. If cast again on the same enemy, she will dash to their location, immobilize them, and deal significant magical damage.
- Skill 3 – Destined Encounter
- Her ultimate is an area-of-effect (AOE) damage skill. It heals allied heroes within range and deals magical damage to enemies. If allies have good fortune, it refreshes the duration, triggers additional healing, and increases their movement speed. If enemies have a bad fortune, it refreshes the duration, deals additional damage, and immobilizes them.

Friday Frenzy Event
Starting September 27, 2024, and every following Friday, Friday Frenzy gives the community a chance to celebrate the start of the weekend, join in events, and earn rewards.
- Event 1: Win a Skin by Winning in a premade team
- Win ranked matches in a premade team to capture the Friday Sprite and earn Koi rewards, skins, and more.
- Event 2: Premade Ranked Match with 3 Special Privileges
- Join a premade ranked match, and you can claim a 24-hour Double Star Card.
- Join a ranked match while in a premade, and your first loss won't cost a star.
- No tier restrictions for full parties!
- Event 3: Premade Bravery Points 2-10 x multiplier
- Participate in premade ranked matches for a chance to earn 2-10 x Bravery Points. Limited to the first 5 ranked matches!
- Event 4: 100 Skins Available for Free
- Every Friday, 100 selected skins and their corresponding heroes will be available for free. Tons of Premium Skins will be available!
- Event 5: Limited-time Skin discounts
- Selected Skins will be available at a 40% discount, with new Skins being added every week.

Roguelite Mode: MechCraft Veteran
Starting today until October 22, 2024, players can try out Mechcraft Veteran, a limited-time mode in Honor of Kings.
In this game mode, you can team up with one, two, or three players to take on PVE roguelite encounters. Choose from seven Heroes, customize your build with 14 weapon types and 160 equipment items, and battle four different monsters across 25 levels of 20-minute encounters. Do you have what it takes to defeat them all?
Season 7: Architect of Fate
Honor of Kings is once again transitioning to a new season, Architect of Fate. Beginning in October 2024 with Spirit of the Gorge, Season 7 promises a new battlefield each month. This will introduce a new Hero skill called Spirit Banish and an improved version of Jungle Vision Spirit, Vision Spirit.
Moreover, HOK players will be able to obtain a new Misty Orison skin for Guiguzi.
Game Optimization
According to Honor of Kings developers, they have responded to community feedback by implementing segmented downloads that enable players to specify the time at which they desire to install the game.
- After you finish the 280 MB+ system update, you can start playing the new version right away.
- After you open the game, download the 150 MB expansion pack to fully experience the Gorge battlefield.
- When you're connected to Wi-Fi, you can opt to download the remaining 800 MB+ resource update package.
- Once the S7 update is downloaded completely, players will receive free skins as a reward.
2024 Honor of Kings Championship
The 2024 Honor of Kings Championship will be held October 12–27 in Jakarta, Indonesia, followed by the Global Invitational Series.
The event kicks off with a group stage at MGP Space from October 12 to 18, and it will followed by Knockout Phase 1 from October 18 to 20. Knockout Phase 2 is set to take place at Kemang Village Indoor from October 25 to 27.
With a prize pool of USD 1 million (around PHP 56 million), elite teams from around the world will vie for the ultimate glory.
