Naraka Bladepoint launched its largest ever Halloween event, bringing new mode and outfits as well as debut of new hero Cyra. Check out all the highlights below. Note that all dates are in Pacific Time (PT).
Halloween Event 2024
Naraka's Halloween event began on October 16 with the first wave of themed content. Another set of new content released on October 30. The event features improvements and mythology-inspired cosmetics including the Lords of Soul from the Horror Cannon.
Moreover, Anubis (the Egyptian guide to the underworld), Hades (the Greek god of the dead and king of the underworld), Lucifer (the Devil in Western theology), and YanWang (the Chinese God of Death) will be among the reimagined spiritual beings and rulers of the underworld.
According to NetEase Games, Naraka Bladepoint players can expect more thrilling content in the third and final wave.
New Cosmetics
This new cosmetic series draws influence from Japanese ghosts and Greek and Chinese gods.
Kurumi looks like the Japanese ghost Aoandon, while Zai channels Lucifer's darker tones with a Special Effect Accessory. Both skins launched on October 16, 2024.
The mystery monthly happenings will continue with fan favorite Hadi's Hades-inspired design and transformation accessory, available October 30, 2024. A YanWang-inspired final design will be unveiled soon.
Halloween-themed Lobby and Game Mode
Halloween will be chilling at Naraka Bladepoint. Fairyland Penglai, the in-game lobby, will be Halloween-themed on October 30, 2024. Players can enjoy music, dancing, and other festivities at the celebration center.
Further, the new Snake Game mode launched, in which the emblematic Koi Carp in Fairyland will assume a ghostly appearance, thereby resembling a serpent. This playful gameplay mode fits Halloween perfectly.
New Hero: Cyra
On October 30, 2024, Naraka Bladepoint adds Cyra, a new hero.
Cyra, a Temple of Light and Shadow high priestess, was chosen to cleanse guilty souls' dark aspects with light. However, she realizes that her temple sprang from the eastern Vesper Coven through certain events. After this revelation, she travels from Lunazra in the West to the Coven and Morus Isle.
Support-oriented Cyra heals teammates, controls enemies, and deals damage. Her skills can release a time-delayed explosive orb that damages and blinds foes but also heals teammates. Her Ultimates make her float, give her a shield, and change her offensive mode so she may fire continuous light beams or use orbs to manipulate foes and heal allies.
For those still uninitiated, the free-to-play wuxia action battle royale game Naraka Bladepoint is available on different platforms: PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile devices.
