The Once Human team released a major update (Version 1.2) for their strange, post-apocalyptic multiplayer open-world survival game. The brand-new scenario and new game modes are the headlines of a package that includes new events, the new Prism Energy mechanism, an update to the Ranching system, and free rewards.

New Scenario: Prismverse's Clash
A server's gameplay theme is a scenario, which is a combination of rules, game modes, and gaming content. This concept is designed to enhance the gaming experience and offer players a variety of choices.
Once Human's first new scenario, Prismverse's Clash, emphasizes player-versus-player gameplay. In this scenario, players are required to select either the Rosetta or Mayfly factions in their endeavor to capture Prism Deviations and accumulate Prism Energy, which will determine the contest's winner.
Notably, players will have the opportunity to engage in massive GVG matches that are both thrilling and intense. Players have the ability to establish battle squads within the vast open world in order to both defend and attack enemy factions. By forming territories and developing strategic squad tactics, they can gain an advantage.
Moreover, this new scenario will be shorter, helping players get resources faster. Due to reduced death penalties, players who were eliminated in PVP battles will not lose their weapons or equipment. Further, they may focus on combat because their territory will be protected.
Prism Energy
Prismverse's Clash will feature Once Human's biggest and most spectacular battles. A new feature in this PvP scenario is Prism Deviations, which can provide you with the Prism Energy that ultimately determines the final victory. They're more common during Public Crisis Events, although they can also be found while fishing or gathering resources in the wilderness.
During Prismverse's Clash, PvP will be active in all map areas, excluding safe zones with faction base camps. Outside of the safe zones, the two factions will fight for Prism Deviations in skirmishes with makeshift weapons in the wilderness or Public Crisis Events with 30 players battling it out for the highest-value Deviations.
Prismverse's Clash will change over time, featuring three stages throughout the event. As time progresses, additional maps, dungeon challenges, Public Crisis Events, and rare Deviations will be unlocked.
Update to Ranching System
The Prismverse's Clash Scenario launched alongside major updates to Once Human's Ranching system, which allows players to capture and raise wild animals in their base.
Capybaras, leopards, and flamingos joined the Ranching system in the latest Version 1.2 update. These are charming and can serve multiple purposes in your base if you house them. Additionally, animal breeding is now part of the game. After building special facilities in their territory, players can breed newborn animals with rare color schemes by combining their parents' features with random fur patterns.
New Events with Free Rewards
Returning players who log in will receive special gifts by simply logging in to the game or participating in specific quests. Rewards include Festering Gel (Marine Star), The Digby Boy (Gold Speaker), and Extradimensional Cat (Good Fortune).
The daily login event runs from September 26 to October 8, 2024 (Server Time). Log in for a total of 7 days to receive a Morphed Nutcracker Self-Selection Box, Starchrom x2,000, weapon blueprint (Dual Fury), Butterfly's Emissary Crate x9, and other amazing rewards.
Meanwhile, the Prismverse's Clash event store will offer supplies to prepare players for the perilous environment.
New Cosmetics
Speedy Wings, Once Human's first four-wheeled vehicle cosmetic, is now available. Explore the world in a cool sports car. Wear the Character Fashion Music Frenzy to experience apocalypse fun. Players can now establish a bar in their territory to relax and recover from battles with friends using the bar-themed furniture skin Neon Symphony.
Next PVE Scenario: The Way of Winter
The Way of Winter is Once Human's next major scenario, announced at Gamescom 2024. The elements will be your opponent in this frozen land survival scenario. Additionally, powerful new Deviants will hunt the landscape.
On September 26, an in-game warm-up event gave gamers their first taste of the Way of Winter, which begins in October.
