Breaking news! Toei Animation has announced that the beloved anime series One Piece will be taking a hiatus after today's release of Episode 1122 and will return in April 2025 with new episodes from the Egghead arc.
Among the new content that fans may anticipate during the break is "One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga," a reimagined edition of the legendary arc that is currently airing on Crunchyroll.
Notably, this special 21-episode cutdown will present the Fish-Man Island Arc in a new light, featuring new animation sequences, opening and ending songs, and a modern visual style.
The new opening theme, "We Go!" by Kitadani Hiroshi, will feature a special guest collaboration that will be announced in the near future. Meanwhile, the ending theme, "Sailing" (TV version) by BE:FIRST, will add a thrilling new element.
One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga is poised to captivate One Piece fans worldwide once more, as it is designed to encapsulate the essence of this fan-favorite plot in a concise format.
Moreover, the enduring legacy of One Piece will be celebrated with a special 25th Anniversary Episode on October 20, 2024. This 30-minute ensemble will depict the reunion of the Straw Hat crew from the view of the non-pirate characters. The narrative is set in the Sabaody Archipelago following the Summit War, and it follows the protagonist, a young girl who is a fan of Nami, as she embarks on a small expedition. Additionally, the episode will be accessible on Crunchyroll for fans.
