NetEase Games announced that Blood Strike will host an exciting winter event from December 5, 2024, to January 8, 2025. Players around the world can enjoy new gameplay modes, free rewards, and limited-time events. Don't forget to mark your calendars for Peak Day on December 25, 2024, to get some of the most exclusive rewards from the event.
New Game Modes and Rewards
Blood Strike's winter event brings a series of special incentives and rewards:
- Log in on December 25, 2024 (Peak Day) to receive 3 Ultra and Gold items for free.
- V5 Weapon Skins: Players who log in between December 5 and January 8 can earn the Ultra Gun Skin, with the exclusive Ultra Striker Skin available only on December 25.
- Blood Ranking: Reach for the top 10 in the rankings for an opportunity to secure the rare Eternal weapon.
- Zombie Royale Kills: Join the Zombie Royale mode and seek to increase your kill count.
- Invite Friends for free Gold starting December 5 for a chance to receive Gold rewards.
Gameplay Modes and New Weapons
The winter event adds exciting new content to the Blood Strike experience, featuring:
- Battle Royale Mode – Blood Rage: Use the new legendary weapon, the Greatsword, to increase your power. It has a strong energy attack and a high-flying laser strike.
- Zombie Royale: This special game mode offers unique gameplay dynamics. When humans die, they transform into zombies. As zombies, they acquire new abilities that enable them to help revive fallen humans. Additionally, upon death, they trigger a global revival countdown.
Human vs. Zombie Mechanics
- Humans: When players die, they become zombies instead of entering a countdown. Humans can find the Blood Crystal Greatsword, which has laser attacks and sword energy abilities.
- Zombies: Zombies now have a special user interface. They can pick up a serum to revive their human teammates. When zombies die, they will all come back to life after a countdown.
PvE Elements and New Challenges
Human players can unlock "Cracks" to release and beat Crystal Monsters, earning CRYSTALS for their activity progress. According to the Blood Strike team, this adds Player versus Environment (PvE) elements to the experience.
Game Mode Highlights
Original Battle Royale: It now features the legendary Greatsword.
- Zombie Royale: Humans turn into zombies upon death, and zombies can collect three injectors to revive as humans. The team with the last human standing takes the victory.
