Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG), a new mobile auto-chess game, is now live in Malaysia and Singapore. Interested players in these countries can download the game on Google Play (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS devices).
Following its soft launch in MY and SG, Magic Chess: Go Go will be released in early 2025 in Asia–Pacific (APAC), which includes the Philippines (PH). There's also a pre-registration event offering players various free rewards.
Game Overview
The multiplayer strategy mobile game takes place in the same world as MOONTON Games' MOBA game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). It is designed for fans of auto-chess and strategy games.
In Magic Chess: Go Go, players act as strategists instead of controlling a single hero like in Mobile Legends. You will command familiar Mobile Legends heroes, such as Layla, Chou, and Nana, to build your champion legion. You need to think strategically to place your heroes and create winning plans to take over the Chessboard.
Pre-Registration Event and Rewards
Currently, Magic Chess: Go Go has reached over 11 million global pre-registrations.
With the 10-million registrations milestone achieved, players who pre-registered for the game will receive the following pre-reg rewards upon its official launch:
- Layla (1-Star)
- Limited Avatar Border (30-Day)
- Go Go Chest (1-Star)
- Chess Points
- Magic Trick
- 1-Star Commander Trial Card

Magic Chess Transfer Plan
Worried that your skins, resources, or battle records in Magic Chess (in Mobile Legends) will disappear when transitioning to Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG)? Fret not! The development team has prepared a comprehensive Magic Chess transfer plan to make sure all your progress carries over seamlessly.
The devs will meticulously inventory all assets owned by every veteran Magic Chess player to ensure nothing is lost. All resources you own in Magic Chess that are already available in MCGG will be returned to you. If resources are not yet available in MCGG, devs said they will convert them into items of equal value. You can exchange these items for those assets as soon as they become available. To enhance your gaming experience, you can also exchange these items in advance for other desired assets from the "Shared Assets" collection.
Moreover, your historical highest rank will be fully carried over to MCGG. This means both new and veteran players can witness the prowess of the strongest competitors and strive to create new legends in MCGG.
