Diablo 4: March of the Goblins Event Begins March 5, 2025

Diablo 4 revealed the details of the March of the Goblins event, which is slated for launch on March 5, 2025, in the Philippines.

From Wednesday, March 5, 2 AM GMT+8, to March 12 (same time), various Goblins will surface and wreak havoc around Sanctuary. A new Reputation track will increase your chances of defeating them by the dozens and stealing their Treasure Bags across each World Tier, the Overworld, towns, dungeons, and Eternal and Seasonal Realms.

Get ready to move up in their ranks, earn Reputation, and claim valuable rewards. Check out the highlights of the latest Diablo IV event below.

March of the Goblins: Event Overview

Sanctuary's undergrowth is full of greedy monsters. This March of the Goblins event offers six new Goblin variants that will stay when the enhanced activity ends. Beat these new evil gremlins to gain reputation and rewards. Start your hunt at the Goblin Statue in Kyovashad. March of the Goblins increases the probability of seeing larger packs of Treasure Goblins, Greed Shrines, and Treasure Goblins when fighting Avarice, the Gold-Cursed World Boss.

Increased Goblin Activity

Treasure Goblins are more active than ever, and their groups are bigger and more rewarding. Greed Shrines, larger Treasure Goblin packs, and Avarice, the Gold-Cursed World Boss with augmented Goblin spawns, await.

Reputation and Rewards

Defeat Goblins to climb up the Goblin Slaying Ranks and unlock better rewards as your Reputation increases.

New Goblin Variants

  • Odious Ector: This enemy drops crafting materials, including Obducite, when you reach Torment tiers.
  • Gilded Baron: This Goblin is rich in gold, dropping large amounts of coins and Aberrant Cinders during Helltides.
  • Glittering Prym: Prym carries gems, Runes, and Scattered Prisms, adding more wealth to your collection.
  • Curious Murl: Murl, with its distinctive purple color, is known for dropping Obols.
  • Gelatinous Syrus: When Syrus dies, it splits into several Goblins and drops Legendary items and more.
  • Fancy Old Fedric: This rare Goblin drops Mythic Unique items and a Resplendent Spark, but finding it can be difficult.

These new Goblin types will remain in the Eternal and Seasonal Realms following the event, ensuring the quest never ends.
