After winning the title, ONIC PH faces a revamped TNC Pro Team in a tough match for Yawi and his new team. Will TNC encounter challenges from the reigning champs, or is this a new chapter?
Day 2 features a star-studded Clash of Titans between global champions Team Falcons and Team Liquid PH. Oheb and Super Marco want to win again, so this matchup will be exciting. Later that day, TNC is facing AP Bren in a fight that showcases new talent featuring returning stars and rookies.
Star Match: Aurora Gaming vs Onic PH
Is ONIC PH really strong? That's the big question before their highly anticipated match against Aurora Gaming. These two teams represent MPL PH's new era after their spectacular finale last season. "The Next Standard," Domengkite, faces "The Gold Standard" Kelra, who has yet to recognize his challenger's ascension in the gold lane. A season-defining fight for supremacy is expected.
Week 1 concludes with new takes on old opponents. Smart Omega and Twisted Minds PH will answer "What's new?" with few squad changes but new narratives this season. Later, friendships evolve into tough competition when Team Liquid and Twisted Minds PH battle it out, starring former teammates Oheb, Sanford, Outplayed, and Jeymz.
