Honkai Star Rail 2.5 Update is slated for release on September 10, 2024, HoYoverse announced. The latest Honkai Star Rail version 2.5 patch, titled "Flying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue," brings three new playable characters, including Feixiao, Lingsha, and Moze.

Moreover, Version 2.5 introduces the eagerly awaited Wardance ceremony alongside powerful new enemies. Further, the climax of this pioneering silkpunk saga will be reached as the long-buried secrets of the Shackling Prison are revealed.
Additionally, a special Warp Event will kick off in the first half of V2.5, featuring the return of limited 5-star characters Robin, Black Swan, and Kafka. The Warp count for the guaranteed 5-star will be distributed across rerun and current limited banners. In the second half of V2.5, the limited 5-star character Topaz will have a rerun.
Honkai Star Rail Version 2.5 Update Overview
The Cloud Knights quickly arrived to rescue individuals from The Shackling jail after a prison break. General Feixiao will personally lead her forces to arrest the escaping Borisin criminals and secure the Luofu surface. General Jing Yuan looks into the incident, while General Huaiyan oversees Luofu's Six Commissions. This groundbreaking silkpunk saga will speed to its finale as Shackling Prison secrets are uncovered.
On the other hand, the Luminary Wardance will ignite in Version 2.5, attracting many participants, including Luka, who is visiting Xianzhou Luofu for the first time. Players who complete Luminary Wardance activities can obtain the cute "Tuskpir" pet. In addition to the Wardance ceremony, the Xianzhou will offer additional fascinating events for players to explore.
In the latest update, three new characters will also join the roster.
A 5-star playable character, Feixiao, the Merlin's Claw of Xianzhou Yaoqing and one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals, will enter the battlefield. Feixiao, known for her honesty, is a martial arts master and the ultimate weapon. She is revered by Xianzhou soldiers and townspeople as "The Vanquishing General." General Feixiao fights across the cosmos with her companions. She attacks hard when her teammates hit an enemy. Her attacks provide "Flying Aureus" every few. This Reignbow-granted Spiritus fuels her power and duty. Feixiao gains "Flying Aureus" from her attacks and her teammates. Feixiao utilizes her Ultimate to consume the Flying Aureus and land powerful gunblade or battle-axe attacks on the opponent. These attacks reduce the enemy's Toughness, bypass their Weakness Type, and boost Feixiao's Weakness Break Efficiency.
Echo of War: Inner Beast's Battlefield, a new Trailblazers trial, will also be introduced by Feixiao in Version 2.5. In this trial, players will encounter the apparition of Flying Aureus—Ecliptic Inner Beast and a shadow of Feixiao.
Lingsha is another highly awaited five-star character. She diagnoses ailments and soothes others with incense using her great sense of smell. She handles complicated social situations calmly, even when she's upset. Lingsha's ability to summon Fuyuan, an incense beast, enhances her battle performance. Fuyuan helps fight but disappears after a while. Lingsha can extend Fuyuan's actions to facilitate follow-up attacks. This attack damages all opponents, dispels one debuff from allies, and restores HP. When Lingsha uses her Ultimate, she damages all enemies, heals allies, and inflicts the Befog state, which boosts Break damage. Lingsha protects her allies as a trustworthy Cauldron Master.
Moze, the 4-star Yaoqing Shadow Guard, will debut as a playable character. Moze avoids the spotlight due to his reclusiveness. He marks one enemy as the Prey and enters the Departed state while on the field in battle. Moze damages the Prey after his allies' attack. Moze's Ultimate also delivers DMG and performs a follow-up attack. Moze brings strategy and intrigue to the battlefield with his stealthy tactics and deadly precision.

- "Indelible Coterie: Black Swan" Character Event Warp
- During the event, the drop rates of the limited 5-star character "Black Swan (Nihility: Wind)" and 4-star characters "Moze (The Hunt: Lightning)," "Asta (Harmony: Fire)," and "Luka (Nihility: Physical)" will be boosted.
