Filipino team Elevate emerged as champions of the Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) World Championship 2024 after beating China's Qing Jiu Club, 4-0, in the grand finals, which was held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, on October 6 (October 7 in PH).
In the best-of-seven (Bo7) grand finals, Elevate swept the Chinese team in Summit, Firing Range, Raid, and Hacienda.
With their long-awaited win, Elevate took home the biggest share of USD 400,000 (around PHP 22.7 million) out of the tournament's USD 1 million total prize pool.
Elevate (ELV), bannered by Yopi, kLo, Peejay, Susanoo, KenDy, Luffy, and Olea (coach), has had an incredibly successful run in CODM history. They won seasons 6 and 7 of Garena Masters, CODM 2024 Garena Finals, CODM CDSI 2024 (Summer Invitational), and the world championship, solidifying their reputation as one of the most dominant teams in the mobile shooter game.
To advance to the playoffs, Elevate defeated Godlike, Qing Jiu Club, and fellow Pinoys Stalwart Esports (STE) in the Swiss stages.
Prior to the grand finals, the Pinoy squad crushed the Chinese team Wolves and the Brazilian team Galorys.
