Riot Games Philippines announced that VALORANT has collaborated with Estudyante Esports to promote its nationwide campus league, demonstrating its dedication to improving local grassroots gaming communities.
The winning school team will get one full semester of tuition in addition to a cash prize pool totaling roughly 1 million pesos.
The Estudyante Esports campus league, organized by Dark League Studios, the official tournament partner of the recently finished University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Esports tournament, is expected to be the country's largest campus esports event. It welcomes gamers from colleges and universities nationwide. VALORANT and League of Legends (LoL) will be played in the competition, comprising UAAP and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) teams.
Estudyante Esports' VALORANT competition offers a scholarship from Riot Games Philippines in addition to cash prizes. Here's the breakdown of the prize pool:
- Champion team – Php 250,000
- First runner-up – Php 100,000
- Grand finals' Most Valuable Player (MVP) – Php 20,000
- Champion's school/campus esports organization – Php 80,000
- Runner-up's school/campus esports organization – Php 50,000
Moreover, VALORANT PH will provide each member of the champion team with a scholarship for one complete semester at their respective schools, recognizing them as EE-Scholar Agents.

Registration deadlines for each region are as follows:
- NCR: October 11, 2024
- Luzon: October 30, 2024
- Visayas and Mindanao: November 30, 2024
The Estudyante Esports Campus Tournament will begin regional qualifiers for NCR in October, Luzon in November, and Visayas and Mindanao in January 2025. First week of February 2025: inter-region playoffs; last weekend: Nationals Stage Grand Finals.
