Installation Guide
Here's the procedure on how to install Sulit TV.
Step 1: Insert the cables (RCA, antenna, power source) to their proper ports. (See the image below for reference)
Step 2: Turn on your TV.
Step 3: Press the "Input" key on your TV remote to switch to AV mode.
Step 4: Turn on your Sulit TV box by pressing the "Power" button.
Step 5: Wait for it to boot up and scan for channels.
And you're done. You can now watch all free-to-air digital TV channels in your area.
Can you use another antenna for the Sulit TV box?
Besides the provided antenna, you can use another antenna for the Sulit TV box. According to the ISDB-T standard (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial), it is recommended to use an outdoor antenna mounted on a 10-meter high pole.
How to scan digital TV Channels in Sulit TV Box?
Step 1. Press the SCAN button on your remote.
Step 2. After that, press the OK button to start the channel search.
Step 3. Wait for the channel search to finish.
It is recommended that you re-scan Sulit TV Digibox when there's an announced advisory on TV or when you notice missing channels.
How to update the software of the Sulit TV digital box?
You can update your Sulit TV automatically or manually.
Automatic Update (5 AM to 7 AM)
1. Keep your Sulit TV plugged in from 5 AM to 7 AM. The upgrade by OTA will start automatically.
2. While the software is updating, the Software Upgrade screen appears. Just wait for the software update to finish.
3. When the Welcome screen appears, press the OK button on your remote control to proceed with Channel Scan.
4. The software update will only happen within 5 to 10 minutes.
Manual Update (7 AM to 12 MN)
1. Press 'Menu' on your remote control, then Go to 'Tools' and click 'Upgrade by OTA'.
2. Check the Frequency, Bandwidth, and Download PID values. Channel 18 (TV5) is the default parameter on the UI menu. Select Start to proceed with Manual OTA.
3. While collecting information, do not disturb or turn off the box during the process.
4. While the software is downloading, do not disturb or turn off the box during the process.
5. Burnflash screen will appear, do not disturb or turn off the box during the process.
6. Press OK.
7. The channel scan will start, do not disturb or turn off the box during the process.
8. Press OK to resume viewing.
Can you use the USB port?
Yes. You can use the Sulit TV's USB port to connect a USB flash drive to play music files, view photos, and watch videos saved on it. Also, you can use it when you perform an upgrade via USB.
