All Filipino Demon Slayer fans shout: Water Breathing, First Form: Water Surface Slash!

Crunchyroll confirmed the Philippine cinema release date for the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle." The first movie in the ufotable's epic trilogy will be released in the Philippines on August 20, 2025, including in IMAX.

The narrative starts when Tanjiro Kamado, a young lad whose family is slain by a demon, enlists the Demon Slayer Corps to restore his little sister Nezuko back into a human from demon transformation.

With its sad story of people and demons, gripping sword battles, likable characters, and funny sequences, the series has enthralled viewers all around.

The three-part film captures the last arc and climax of the very well-liked, prestigious anime shonen series. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will distribute the film globally, with the exception of Japan and certain Asian territories.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle – Film Synopsis

After his sister Nezuko gets changed into a demon, Tanjiro Kamado enlisted in the Demon Slayer Corps to hunt these enemies. Fighting alongside Hashiras like Rengoku on the Mugen Train and Uzui in the Entertainment District, he gets stronger with friends Zenitsu and Inosuke.

Muzan Kibutsuji targets the Ubuyashiki Mansion as the Corps gets ready for war through Hashira Training. Then, dropped into the Infinity Castle, the stronghold of the demons, Tanjiro and the Hashiras start their last battle.

Created by Koyoharu Gotoge, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" ran 23 volumes and sold over 150 million copies when serialized in SHUEISHA's WEEKLY JUMP from February 2016 to May 2020. The 'Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc' debuted the anime in April 2019; the feature film Mugen Train was released in October 2020; later arcs running from 2021 to 2022 followed. Shortly following the movie "To the Swordsmith Village," the Swordsmith Village Arc first showed on Crunchyroll in 2023. 2024 saw the "To Hashira Training" movie accompanying the "Hashira Training Arc."
